Description: Between 3mm and 5mm in length. Came across this ladybird on my windowsill, indoors on a dry sunny July day. Yellowish in colour with black spots (more like rectangles). Black stripe down the centre of back where wing cases met.

Description: Saw this in my back garden on a warm sunny July day. Basking in the sun on a leaf. Kept flying off, darting about very quickly before landing in exactly the same spot to bask in the sun again. Large fly, about the size of a honey bee.

Description: Around 7 feet tall, hollow green coloured bamboo like stem, green leaves with fuschia like flower. Leaves are approx 3" long. The stems come from one main tree like stump (see second photo), unlike bamboo.
