Large green liverwort found in ancient woodland on fallen treen trunk. Green coloration.
Location: Hanging Hill Wood, North Somerset

Semi Ancient Woodland. Colliter's Brook runs through the wood from Dundry to Avon New Cut, Bristol. Also known as Hancock's Wood by locals. Mostly coppiced Hazel woodland.

Notes: Large oval/circular green in colour, leafy. Can anyone identify species?

Notes: Yes it's a liverwort, this one being widespread and common wherever conditions are reasonably sheltered and humid. As Will has said, it belongs in 'Plants'.
