Common Green Shieldbug Nymph
(Added to iSpot on 18th July 2012)
I think this is a Green Shieldbug Nymph, probably 3rd Instar, of the family Pentatomidae... but I'd welcome confirmation or correction.
Location: Cambridge St, Exeter

Thanks Colin,
Is 3rd instar too specific to be sure or is 'Mid Stage Nymph' a more appropriate description?

No you are spot on Adam - Mid Stage is 3rd - each Nymph stage being sexually imature The are 5 stages generally 3rd is fine for youir ob although sometimes with other sp it is diifficult to be precise wiithout rearing ie +/1 on the staging
