Gutweed (Ulva intestinalis) growing in a rockpool high on the shore, with buoyant tubular fronds filled with air standing upright, Wembury, Devon, UK, August.

Green alga in rockpool right at the top of the shore with relatively straight buoyant tubular fronds filled with air. Formerly known as Enteromorpha intestinalis.
