Quality of the photographs is not good, taken through double glassed window. But thought it was interesting that one Rock Dove has given up waiting for the smaller birds to shake seeds on to the ground. The other Doves, usually about 6-9, wait under the feeder for the seeds to rain down.

Pigeons

Interesting. My in-laws have feral pigeons (I think they are someones pet pigeons) come to her table and they always chase off the other birds, taking over the table until it is empty. The wood pigeons tend to feed under the table on the scraps dropped by other birds - even so they can get so fat they can not fly! They only sit on the table when nothing else is around.

The behaviour of your rock doves is more like my wood pigeons, is this another indication they are wild rock doves? Do other people find their wood pigeons behave differently?
