difficulty using site
I uploaded a really interesting photo of a peculiar thing I found on the beach in New Zealand The map would not take me anywhere but Blackburn even if I was sending material locally from Lancaster I couldn't have got there via the map
I found this site incredibly hard to use
locations are being overhauled

Sorry to hear you found the site hard to use. I know some people are finding the map a bit difficult to use to add a location, but there shouldn't be any reason why you can't select a location that's anywhere in the world.
We are at present working on changes to the way locations are added and used on the site, so I hope that you'll find it easier to use in the future.
I hope you'll find some positive aspects to the site too.
