Linked spots?

How about on an observation page being able to click the Latin name for an observation and being shown any of the same recorded on the site (if there are any).

It would mean I could click on that name to see other examples of the proposed ID and that would help me decide if it is correct...

Good idea, but we are planning another function for clicking on names: a hotlink to the Encylopedia of Life page. This has pictures, so it might do what you want anyway. We'll have a think about your suggestion, though. Thanks.

I agree with Matt. The Enc of

I agree with Matt. The Enc of Life is good in that it gives you lots of very nice photos of that species, but it would be good if there could be another button for "Link to other ispot pictures" or something - this would mean that I could see other members photos of the same species, and thereby see the dialogue etc that goes with it, to see how the ID was made. E.g. the Amphibian and reptile group might find this useful for showing the different colour morphs of common frogs.
