Small Wainscot

This little moth was in the moth trap last night it was no more than 8-10 mm.
Looked mainly white with faint blue-grey streaking on wings

Location: Badnaban, Sutherland

Probably from the family Pyralidae.

My impression is that this is from the family Pyralidae, such as Sitochrea palealis or Acentria ephemeralis, but this is not my area of expertise.

yes this was a really small moth no more than 8-10mm from head to tail. I could not find out much about these small moths in the books I have. Hoping there is an expert out there that can help

Small Wainscot

I agree with Rob's suggestion of Small Wainscot, it looks exactly the right shape, although as Rob says it's a bit faded to be able to be absolutely certain.
