Description: In the bird world, one of the constantly recurring debates is Chiffchaff/Willow Warbler; in the butterfly world it's Brown Argus/Common Blue female.
I think this is a Common Blue female 'cos there seems to be a very slight but noticeable blue tinge to the body near the wing roots.

Description: The two spots at the base of the forewing are either absent making this a Brown Argus or are obscured by the hindwing which would make this a Common Blue. When I first saw it in flight, my initial reaction was that it was a Brown Argus but the blueish tinge to the body makes me think it is a female Common Blue
