Description: Lumpy, suede-like cap. With red stem and lemon yellow pores. Rapidly bruising blue (flesh & pores). Bitter taste.

Description: Pale brown smooth cap, stem yellow-to-pink with red net. Bruises blue. Flesh lemon yellow in cap and stem. Dark crimson at stem base.Tubes greenish-yellow, blue when damaged. Found in mixed broadleaved woodland, with beech.

Description: Small specimen - 50cm high. Found under coniferous trees. Flesh turns bright blue on being cut.

This is an area of mixed woodland but this fungus was found under three very large (approx 100 year old) Scots Pine trees, right next to one of the roots.

Description: Large whitish bolete with yellow pores. Cap 14cm across. Flesh turning blue when bruised. Under beech on roadside on chalk.

Description: I found a few of these on a very steep slope alongside a bank of beech trees. This is the second spot where I have found this rare fungi this year.
