Description: It is presumed that this jelly fish had been left behind when the tide went out and appeared to be dead.

Description: The sea at Slapton Sands, Devon, was teeming with these jellyfish, you could see one about every 5 metres along the coast. I was unlucky enough to front crawl into one face first, luckily the sting only lasted a couple of hours.
