Description: This had me puzzled for a while, as it is a fairly recent addition to the British list and not in the Goater's book on pyralid moths. Caught during a moth workshop at Lee Valley Park last month. There seems to be some debate over whether this moth migrates to Britain or is only associated with cultivated plants (i.e. grown in greenhouses or imported). Most UK records have been from indoors; this one was free-flying by the river Lee, but there is a nursery with extensive greenhouses just the other side of the river.
