Description: A mass of these deep pink cranesbills, standing up to around 8 inches with hairy stems, moderately dissected leaves were flowering on the inland slopes of coastal sand dunes in South wales in late July. I think the flower and leaf shape and habitat all fit for Bloody Cranesbill and I found a local botany group's record of this species in these dunes at Port Eynon.
