Description: Swarms of these beetles came across Tolpuddle (Dorset) at Dusk. They crashed into tents and Campers, got in peoples hair and for an hour made a nuisance of themselves. Then they were gone.
This happened three nights running.

Description: What is this larvae / grub found 2feet underground that wouldn't sit still for the photo? It was a big as my little finger, greyish with orange head and legs at the front. It seemed quite annoyed at being accidentally dug up and was thrashing around!

Description: Sorry about blurred pic, he was not impressed at bring accidentally dug up and was jumping around, wiggling and arching his back! Grub like creature about the size of my little finger, grey ish with orange head and legs at the front end.

Description: Found this wonderful bug stuck in a hole between 2 layers of fruit cage netting.Thought they were also called June Bug as well as May Bug or am I thinking of Jitterbug ? Too late for a child of the 50's.This is far more elegant than the grub.

Description: Amazing large bug, approximately 2cm long with antler like antennae. I believe this to be a male as he has 7 'fronds' on his antennae. White markings down the side, 2 large brown wing cases. I think he is a remarkable bug!
