Description: About a centimeter across. Deep red with yellow dots. Triangular when wings shut. Body stripy on back. Several present sitting on different kinds of plants.

Description: I found this small pupa wrapped in the leaves of a thyme plant in my garden. I'm going to keep it to see what emerges but wondered if anyone can identify it from the photos. As you can see from one of the photos it's 8mm long.

Description: My herb garden was full of these little (c 1cm across) moths during early summer when it was very hot and dry here. This one was photographed in full sun at 9.50am on a curry plant(Helchrysum italicum) but most of the time they were on the nearby oregano plants which were in flower.
