Description: Rubbish picture just put up to accompany the observation.
Emergence of this species has been unusually early. The previous (exceptional) early date was 9th June (in 2007). Has anyone else noticed them being early this year?

Description: I was very pleased to see this insect (even if it is a bit tattered!). We only see one or two each year at this location, but last year failed to find any. Nice to know it's still there.
